A Technologically Advanced Manufacturing Ecosystem

Centrally located in Bhopal, the company benefits from excellent connectivity via National Highway corridors — enabling efficient access to seaports in Gujarat and Maharashtra, and air cargo facilities through airports in Bhopal, Mumbai, and Delhi.

Since inception, ORB has focused on developing a highly sophisticated manufacturing ecosystem. By 2025, the facility spans nearly 14,000 sq. m., housing state-of-the-art precision manufacturing and quality control equipment required to produce bearings for the global market.

The facility operates more than 100 advanced manufacturing machines from global OEMs including DMG MORI and Heller; a highly automated, green foundry for white metal lining; and extensive quality assurance systems from Zeiss, Instron, Mitutoyo, and Baker Hughes.

To ensure micron-level accuracy and extend equipment life, the entire facility is fully air-conditioned. It is regarded as a global benchmark — if not a lighthouse project — in sustainable precision manufacturing.

ORB has a round-the-clock operating foundry developed entirely in-house — with knowledge passed through generations. This one-of-a-kind white metalling operation is highly automated with capacity to line more than 100 bearings per day of varied sizes.

The control and operating systems have been fully conceptualised, designed, and manufactured in-house — enabling a unique, reliable process that delivers consistent quality year after year. Operations are fully REACH and RoHS compliant.

Among the largest globally for white metal lining, the foundry section is highly energy efficient and represents the backbone of ORB's bearing manufacturing.
