Omega Renk Bearings was founded by Mr. Sushil Prakash and Mrs. Dipa Prakash, whose vision for engineering excellence and commitment to quality have shaped the company’s six-decade journey from a local manufacturer to a global leader in precision engineering.

Mr. Sushil Prakash, is the Co-Founder and Managing Director of Omega Renk Bearings Pvt. Ltd. Mr.Prakash has a Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering with specialization in Metallurgy. He has a wide experience in the field of manufacturing of white metal lined sleeve bearings and thrust pads which are parts of all drive elements. He started working in Technology & Production Division of OMEGA INDUSTRIES in 1986. With continued experience, he graduated to starting his own enterprise, OMEGA RENK BEARINGS PVT. LTD, which a key player in the global market for white metal lined sleeve bearings for gearboxes, marines, generators , pumps and power projects.

Mr. Sushil Prakash's knowledge on working and manufacture of bearings has given the company a key position to serve as QUALITY manufacturer.

Mr. Prakash is a leading consultant for bearing installation, maintenance and analysis of failures in India. He is also a competent and qualified NDT person.

Apart from bearings, he has an expertise in the field of Cutting Tools and is a member of Society of Tribologists and Lubrication Engineers, USA.

Although an Engineer by profession, he is an environmentalist by nature. His strong commitment to the cause of environment can be felt in his endeavors of tree plantation drives, water harvesting initiatives and now with generation of GREEN ENERGY by harnessing Solar Energy and making the world’s greenest bearing manufacturing unit whose 75% energy requirement is met by solar. He is also credited by conceptualizing and building MP’s first Net Zero Energy and LEED’s Platinum rated Green Building .

Mrs. Dipa Prakash

Co-Founder

Mrs. Dipa Prakash, is the Co-Founder and Director at Omega Renk Bearings Pvt. Ltd. Mrs. Prakash has a Bachelor’s degree on Electrical Engineering and a Master’s in Heavy Electrical Equipments. She is a qualified NDT consultant. Responsible for Sales and Service, Mrs. Prakash leads all customer relations and drives growth. She also heads the ISO initiatives and is instrumental in enforcing the standards of quality and excellence in processes and practice at Omega Renk Bearings.

Prior to her current assignment, Mrs. Prakash was General Manager at Omega Industries Pvt. Ltd., She was earlier a Design Engineer for Traction Motors at BHEL, one of Asia’s largest heavy electrical equipment manufacturers.

Mrs. Prerna Prakash

Mrs. Prerna Prakash

Director – Sales

Dynamic and results-driven sales leader with over a decade of experience in key account management, business development, and SAP ERP implementation at Omega Renk Bearings Pvt. Ltd. Currently serving as Director – Sales, leading global client strategy and revenue growth initiatives worldwide.

An alumna of the University of Milano-Bicocca (Master's in International Business) and the University of Geneva (Executive Summer Course in CSR Leadership), she combines international business expertise with strong strategic and sustainability-driven leadership.

She specialises in managing and expanding multinational client relationships across global markets. With proven strength in cross-functional team leadership, ISO certification processes, and CSR programme development, she brings a balanced blend of commercial acumen, operational efficiency, and social responsibility.

Multilingual and globally exposed, she thrives in collaborative, high-performance environments and is passionate about sustainable growth and skill development initiatives.

Mr. Sudeep Prakash

Director – Technical  ·  Managing Director, TLC France

Mr. Sudeep Prakash is a Mechanical Engineer with a postgraduate degree in Production Engineering from the Karlsruhe Institute of Technology, Germany. He worked in Germany for one year before returning to India in 2017 to join Omega Renk Bearings.

As Head of Technology and Innovation, he led the implementation of a digital toolroom, introduced smart tools and shop-floor reporting systems, and played a key role in identifying and executing major investments in infrastructure, metal-cutting machinery, and tooling. He was instrumental in conceptualising and deploying palletised machining cells to enhance productivity and operational efficiency.

Actively engaged in the production process, Mr. Prakash completed ASNT NDT Level II certification in Ultrasonic Testing (UT) and Penetrant Testing (PT), Internal Auditor training for ISO 14001:2015 & ISO 45001:2018, and Basic and Advanced training in IMT division by Carl Zeiss. He is also a member of the Tribology Society of India.

He leveraged his international exposure to introduce ergonomic initiatives for employees and contributed to strengthening the company's corporate branding. Currently serving as Director – Technical at ORB, he oversees production planning, customer engagement, and operational excellence. He also manages operations as Managing Director of Tous Les Coussinets, France.
